me (mostly) & my family; due to crisis in greece are thinking about migrate to an other country.
and as italy is next to greece will be much much easier to convince my wife to do so. (she doesn't want to migrate at all).
i need to ask you; actually i need answers from mature audience that are IN the today market in italy; to advice me if Italy is a country that can support fair good a hard working person & its family.
i have no intension to become rich; just to live a normal ordinary life (not only from money side but also from education; health etc etc) with a (better) future for my kid.
i have read some articles that also in your country more and more every day choose to migrate someware else. Is this true ?
need your advices & every possible information that any of you can offer to me.
i count on you DO comunity for so important change in my family 's future

i think that italy isn't your best choice; the situation here is the same as in greece: lot of taxes (around 70% i think); unemployment 12% (and 40% of young people are unemployed).

I don't know if you have a degree, nor which one you have, but i think that you won't find a job easily. If you are a medic/engineer/economist maybe you will be lucky


there's a reason if you read in newspapers that a lot of italian are migrating: italy isn't a good country to live in.


I'm young, i'm still studying at university, so those are only informations that i read in newspapers or that i hear from people around me, but in my opinion, if you want to migrate, germany is your best choice (probably i'll migrate too).

- thinks in greece i think is much much worst from every country in europe these days official (not real one - just what our goverment says) unemployment volume is 29 % !!!!!
- i know that my best choice is australia but my wife .... dont even think about this option
-no i have no univercity degree - i have finished tech school as Electronics technician and have been specialised as pc technician & as healthcare CR/DR technician
-hope the best for your future my friend - stay in alert mate - choose the best option for your future indepentant from countries

Definire l'Italia "peggiore" è pessimistico. Siamo messi maluccio (rispetto agli altri paesi industrializzati) ma meglio rispetto a molti altri paesi.

 

se vai a vedere, tra germania, francia, uk, spagna e italia (diciamo i "big" dell'europa), come pil noi siamo penultimi, quindi sì; stiamo meglio rispetto a molti altri paesi, ma a confronto con i nostri pari siamo messi male (notare che questo è solo del pil, poi vai a vedere di tasse, servizi pubblici ecc);


l'idea mia è che, se proprio deve emigrare, tanto vale che lo faccia in un posto davvero migliore; se devi andare in un paese 10 volte meglio del tuo e uno 100 volte meglio, dove andresti?

Italy isn't the best, but if you want to come here at all costs, you should go in the richest regions of Italy, like Trentino alto adige, Valle d'Aosta, Lombardia or Friuli Venezia Giulia.

here in greece 90% of population believe that thinks will get even worst.
there are even doctors here that are unemployed !!!
